Hi I’m new to this sight so here goes. I lived in Soest for 3 years in PMQ I think from 1958 to 1960. I was in grade six or seven in 1960. I’m returning to Soest around Oct 5th for a short visit with my two sons. I have a few pictures and remember the PMQs but not sure I could find exactly where I lived. I remember the school and I have a few pictures of friends we made over there. Problem is I can’t remember the names but it will be so nice to revisit after all these years. Does anyone have any ideas for me My name is Malcolm Parkinson and my email is . I would sure like any help from people that have been back and any information I could use for my visit.
Notice the roofs appear to be shingled with the petroleum North American style singles versus the clay curved roofing product that is now used in Ontario in the high end homes. Do you all remember when there was a storm how occasionally (actually more than occasionally) the clay roofing pieces would come crashing down onto the ground and shattering. Looking back, surprisingly no one got injured ( or worse)
